Even after the great closet clean-out of December, 2007, my closet is still kinda full. Well, very full actually. One of the things it’s full of is old software program disks and manuals. In this corner, we have the game Master of Orion II for Macs, issued in the mid-1990s. That’s fine as there’s also a copy of the Mac OS 9 install disks not to mention Windows 95, 98 and 2000. One of the big things that clutter up a house is clothing. Even if you keep your clothes organized and neat in your closets there is a good chance that you’ve got a bunch of clothes that you no longer use or no longer fit. Today, I worked on a project that was purely out of love for my husband. His side of the closet was bursting at the seams with clothes he never wears. Some are completely out of style and others are not the style he wears any more. He has become a kind of jean snob, and it is all my fault. As an epilogue to our open closet makeover, I thought I’d post these tiny hanging labels that I made in all of five minutes. The devil really is in the details, and they look adorable (and they’re functional too). I whipped up one that says “sheet sets”, another that says “beach towels” and a third that’s labeled “hand towels & washcloths”.
